On 2nd October 2024, Little Scholars School, Kashipur, proudly hosted SETU 2024, a dynamic event centered around the theme "CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS EFFECTS ON BIODIVERSITY." The event brought together students, educators, and experts to foster discussions on one of the most pressing global challenges—climate change 🌿.
The event began with an inspiring introduction by the hosts, Shrusti Agarwal and Shivank Dhyani. The Chief Guest, Mr. Sourabh Popli (Associate Professor, School of Planning & Architecture, Bhopal), Resource Person Dr. Soumya Prasad, along with Mr. Taukeer Alam and Mr. Rajesh Bhatt, were welcomed through a traditional Tilak ceremony and bouquet presentation. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed, symbolizing the illumination of wisdom and knowledge, in the presence of the school management, Mrs. Ritu Bhalla, Ms. Bindu Bhalla, Mr. Pankaj Bhalla, Principal Ms. Shikha Gautam, Vice Principal Ms. Ruma Agarwal, and special guests. Principal Ms. Shikha Gautam delivered the welcome address, emphasizing the importance of protecting wetland ecosystems.

This year's theme focused on understanding the intricate relationship between climate change and biodiversity loss. Through diverse activities, presentations, and research-based exercises, students explored how climate change impacts ecosystems, species survival, and the delicate balance of nature.

On 2nd October 2024, Little Scholars School, Kashipur, proudly hosted SETU 2024 (Social Enterprise Towards Unified Understanding and Undertaking), a dynamic event centered around this year’s theme: “CLIMATE CHANGE AND ITS EFFECTS ON BIODIVERSITY.” This event brought together bright young minds, educators, and experts to foster discussions on one of the most pressing global challenges we face today—CLIMATE CHANGE 🌿. The event was set in motion with an inspiring introduction, as the hosts, Shrusti Agarwal and Shivank Dhyani, welcomed the audience, setting the tone for an impactful day. Our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Sourabh Popli- Associate Professor at the School of Planning & Architecture, Bhopal, and Resource Person, Dr. Soumya Prasad- an ecologist and biodiversity expert, along with Mr. Taukeer Alam- a passionate bird watcher, and Mr. Rajesh Bhatt – a devoted nature lover – were greeted with a traditional Tilak ceremony and bouquet presentation. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed, symbolizing the illumination of wisdom and knowledge, with the gracious presence of our school management, Mrs. Ritu Bhalla, Ms. Bindu Bhalla & Mr. Pankaj Bhalla, principal Ms. Shikha Gautam, vice principal Ms. Ruma Agarwal and special guests. Soumya is also leading the Garbage Impacts Research & Awareness Programme. She has been with NSI since 2012 in an honorary capacity.

During this time, we supported communities in around 100 villages in various fields, including forestry and forest conservation, animal husbandry, irrigation systems, and rural energy technology.
