United Nations was created to bring nations together where differences could be discussed and common ground could be found through dialogue.
At Little Scholars, LS MUN was envisioned as a platform where students could experience this process themselves. Since its first edition in 2023 inaugurated by our esteemed chief minister shri Pushkar Singh Dhami ji, it has brought students across the region to discuss contemporary issues, and experience diplomacy.
Through LSMUN, students engage with peers from neighboring schools where young minds discuss and devise solutions for global challenges.
Welcoming distinguished Executive Board members and enthusiastic delegations from Delhi NCR, Dehradun, Haldwani, Rudrapur and beyond, bringing diverse perspectives to the LSMUN experience.
Delegates take on different roles and enter committees designed around real world issues, national affairs and crisis situations inculcating critical reasoning.
“It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.”

Beyond the committees:
At LSMUN, the experience extends beyond debate and diplomacy. From focused training and wellness sessions to engaging socials and a dedicated organizing committee, every element is designed to make the conference more enriching, collaborative and memorable.
Wellness session:
Expert-led sessions focused on helping delegates maintain a healthy balance between the intensity of MUN, personal well-being and a positive conference experience
Training Sessions:
Going beyond the basics of MUN, our training sessions bring experienced voices to the table, helping delegates sharpen their diplomacy, research and negotiation skills before they step into committee.
The team working behind the scenes to bring LSMUN to life — coordinating every detail, managing every moment, and ensuring a seamless experience for every delegate.
Sustainability to diplomacy:
At LS MUN, diplomacy extended beyond the discussions within our committees. As part of our sustainability initiative, we replaced conventional plastic delegate materials with recyclable and more environmentally responsible alternatives. A small change in what we use can make a meaningful difference in what we leave behind.
Inclusivity:
TAs part of our commitment to inclusion, LSMUN invites specially-abled students from Indu Smriti to showcase their talents and performances, celebrating ability, expression and equal opportunity.
MUN Co-Ordinator:
Anju Singal Ma’am, MUN Coordinator since 2017, has played a defining role in shaping the school’s MUN culture, mentoring delegates, and coordinating its journey across conferences. As MUN Coordinator, she oversees the training and mentoring of delegates, committee preparation, research guidance, conference planning, coordination with schools and delegates, and overall execution of MUN activities. Her role extends beyond organizing conferences to creating meaningful opportunities for students to engage with global issues and develop as confident young leaders.
